I did a lot of looking before I found Avalon Senior Living in Lindon. The 2 buildings and grounds are gracious and well maintained with a variety of amenities, and activities to choose from. Folks are friendly, and Lanell, the manager, is always pleasant and does a truly outstanding job of keeping everything running smoothly. I love living here!

My wife and I have been here for a year and a half and we are very pleased with the staff, community, and the apartment itself. The grounds are well maintained, beautiful, and the apartments are modern and in excellent condition. Lanell is a wonderful manager, looking out for the tenants, listening to our needs, and helping in places we didn’t expect! Overall, Avalon is a terrific place to live and we highly recommend it!

I am going on 4 years here at Avalon, It is quite, the commons area and the halls along with the game room, family room, theater room and the gym are always very clean. Lanell is a wonderful person to have as a manager and onsite at that. Oswaldo our maintenance man is always doing something and if something needs done in your apt. it gets done quick, not in a week. Lanell has bingo night and we win prizes, there is also other games she plays for the residents where you can win gift cards and they are not just the $5.oo ones either, there is a nice garden area behind both buildings for the residents to plant in, there is also a few fruit trees, The residents always have something going on, weather it be a birthday party, a going away party or games and puzzles. It is close to the UTA bus stop. The building is secured which is a plus for me.

My son, Joseph, who is wheelchair bound, and I have been living at Avalon for almost three years. Our apartment is easy for him to move around in his wheel chair and is very comfortable with lots of space for storage. Lanell has been very gracious and helpful if we have a problem. The facility is well-managed. Likewise, Oswaldo is always on the job if anything needs attention and takes good care of the physical facilities like replacing batteries in fire alarms, removing snow and ice from sidewalks and salting the parking lot. As a former home owner I find it is very nice to have everything well-looked after by someone who is competent and pleasant.

I had no idea when I first started investigating what a treasure I was finding here. First of all, Lanell, the office manager, is just extraordinary. She is always pleasant, never too busy to help, patient with slow learners (like me), and so efficient. The whole place shows her impeccable management. The public areas are immaculately clean, as are the apartments when you move in. The decor is so tasteful and soothing. The outside maintenance is beautiful, and the place was a mass of red roses along the sidewalks in early June. I find treats from the management at my door for most holidays, and also on some random days. On occasion, there are treats or flowers or gifts for residents in the lobby as well. There is a monthly newsletter which features different activities. The cleaning and maintenance staff (especially Oswaldo) are wonderful. I love the trash valeting - I feel so pampered. I was amazed at how much storage space they have incorporated. I still haven’t filled all my cupboards, shelves and closets. The community garden is great fun, especially as you meet other residents who share your love of gardening. The exercise room is a full-fledged miniature gym with top-of-the-line equipment -- way more luxurious than I could ever buy for myself. Lanell has managed to get me a parking spot right next to the side door, and a storage area right next door to my apartment. I think she gives everyone the feeling that they are her favorite tenant. There is a lovely old park across the street with a walking trail to it leading under State Street - huge shady trees, enormous lawn for sports, picnic tables, terrific playground. There are also a couple of small picnic areas on the property itself. Pretty much everything here is first class, and the cost is very reasonable -- maybe because there is no swimming pool. But there is a public pool right across the street. I feel very lucky to be here.

I am so glad that Avalon popped upon my Google search. It is the perfect place for me at this stage of my life...surrounded by other peers, in a safe and supportive environment. We have been homeowners prior to this move and I wasn’t sure about returning to apartment living. I knew I wasn’t ready for a senior living facility. Here at Avalon I have an apartment that is my private home and there’s NO landscaping, No snow plowing, NO repairs...it sure beats homeownership! I’ve been dealing with a declining husband and there is so much love and support here. I don’t plan to ever leave!

When I started looking for a place to live I wanted something close to work. Well I found it, Avalon Senior Apts it the best place the staff and all of the people that live here are so wonderful. If you have any problems they will get it fixed so quick and they just don’t put a Band-Aid on it they truly fix the issue. I had a problem with the toilet and they got a new one to fix the issue. The staff are unbelievably helpful and they are so nice. This is the best place to live and I am truly loving my new home.

They helped my uncle with some things so I didn't have to do it that would have taken about an hour and they said it was part of the deal with him living in this senior living center. He seems to have a good time here and is taken care of so far. His last nursing home they asked all of the residents to leave because they were changing the building to something else so I am glad he is in another place that is comparable. I feel glad it is just one level flooring plan at the Avalon. Good experience with this place from a nephew of an uncle who lives here.

As a resident of Avalon, I enjoy the wonderful views with big open windows, the spacious kitchens, and large bathrooms where even a wheelchair can get in without any problems. I also enjoy the people that live here. They are cheery and happy. Its wonderful to sit and enjoy each others company in the common areas. The employees that work here are very willing to help with any kinds of problems. We also get fresh coffee and muchies daily.

Very warmly welcomed and a friendly staff. Activities are offered as a way to let the tenants get to know each other. Participation is not required but once you start making friends with your neighbors you'll want to join in the fun. Community gardens are a plus for me. There are also fruit trees near the gardens. The BBQ's always have propane as we like to grill in the pavilion. I would recommend others to stop by for a tour and join us!

UPDATE I am renewing my contract for the 5th year. My friend and i feel very fortunate to be living here. We have no complaints and want to stay for many years to come.

I moved into The Avalon two months ago and was very impressed with how beautiful the apartments were. Granite counter-tops, high ceilings, good lighting, huge bedrooms, Internet plug-ins in every room, and best of all, they're brand-new! I am the very first one to ever live in mine! No wonder they're filling up so fast! I love the game and spacious theater rooms also! Kelsey and Lanell were terrific to work with. They bent over backwards to make everything work for me. Upon moving in to any new establishment I was unsure what to except. I like the location and the fact that the complex sets off the road knowing it would lessen the road notice which was very appealing to me. Then I walked through the apartment that I was interested in while it was under construction and was very impressed with the quality of the apartments. Upon signing the rest of the paperwork I met with Kelsey Montoya the property manager and found her very warm and welcoming to the community and was very impressed by her. After living in the complex for a month or so I learned more about the community and what they had to offer, planned activities/socials, friendly neighbors, beautiful new amenities and wonderful office staff. I am very happy with my decision to move into Avalon Senior Apartments and plan to stay and would recommend this complex to anyone looking for a brand new quite community. -Hal Kissell

Upon moving in to any new establishment I was unsure what to except. I like the location and the fact that the complex sets off the road knowing it would lessen the road notice which was very appealing to me. Then I walked through the apartment that I was interested in while it was under construction and was very impressed with the quality of the apartments. Upon signing the rest of the paperwork I met with Kelsey Montoya the property manager and found her very warm and welcoming to the community and was very impressed by her.
